Lost in Translation...

Seeing the Saturday is the only day that anything is open, I decided to get up before 1 pm & walk about. While at market, I actually had a man tell me in french to eat. I hope my parents never read this...they would salut the french for keeping on me...lol. I checked out the local shops tryng to make a mental map of where everything is for for future reference. Fail...I all ready forgot. :)

While walking around, I remembered that I hadn't been to the massive cemetary in the town. It was what I expected. I know everyone thinks I'm strange for having such a fascination for something that represents the dead. Ok, yeah, it's strange. However, it is a quiet beautiful place commemorating people's lives with sculptures & peace...& perhaps it's also that I'm a literature major interested especially in the gothic aspects. lol. As I wandered about, I saw a raven hopping through the soldier's area. I went to photograph it, & it leaped on one of the crosses & flew off. Quite a Poe moment. :) I found the owner of my company's family plot. Massive...not a surprise.
